EPIC Webinar: Researching for the Future - Opportunities for ICT research collaboration with Singapore

This webinar provided information on collaboration and funding opportunities between the European Union and Singapore. Its aims to support European researchers in the field of information and communication technologies with an interest to collaborate with partners in Singapore. Experts in EU-SG collaboration from EURAXESS ASEAN abd SPI Protugal have provided insights into the Singaporean research and innovation environment and information about current funding opportunities.

Who presented?:

Dr Susanne Rentzow-Vasu is Regional Representative for the EURAXESS ASEAN network, a pan-European network that promotes research cooperation between Europe and Southeast Asia. She also runs her own consultancy providing political analyses and risk assessments as well as project management services to her clients. She has previoulsy headed the Information Centre Singapore of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) as its director from 2008-2012. Susanne also held the post of Senior Policy Officer with the EU Delegation to Singapore. She holds a Master's degree in European Union Studies from the University of Newcastle (UK) and a PhD in International Relations from the University of Wales Aberystwyth (UK).

Audry Maulana is an International Consultant at SPI and performs tasks related to international markets and projects related to communication, innovation and business development. He has wide experiences in European funded international projects particularly for international clients. He is the project officer for YAKSHA which aims to reinforce EU-ASEAN cooperation in the Cybersecurity domain as well as Southeast Asia IPR Helpdesk which supports EU SMEs in protecting their Intellectual Property Rights in Southeast Asia. Audry has a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Indonesia and a Master's degree in Political Science and International Relations from Istanbul Sehor University.
